Front Porch Sundays around town.

Front Porch Sundays has continued to expand, providing new opportunities for small businesses to broaden their reach and introduce unique wares. FPS is excitedly taking the next step by introducing Front Porch Fest; an additional way for vendors across different industries to showcase what they have to offer.

Each fourth Sunday of the month, you’ll find FPF popping up at Protagonist Brewing in LoSo for five hours of your favorite shopping, great beer, huge pizza, and the FPS vibes you’ve come to love.

Where is this located?

Front Porch Fest is hosted at Protagonist Beer - LoSo (227 Southside Dr Unit A, Charlotte, NC 28217). Vendors can be found in the parking lot to the left of Protagonist’s building.

We pop-up from 11 am to 4 pm.

What's the entry fee?

FPF@LoSo is free to attend.

What’s the best entrance?

Enter the market from the parking lot entrance left of Protagonist’s patio.

What can I expect when I get there?

This market is hosted outdoors, rain or shine. You’ll find 50+ small businesses lining the parking lot in addition to two food trucks, mobile shops, and live music throughout the day.

Enjoy the live music from the lawn or while you shop and grab a beer from the beer tent. We’re bringing ‘Find The Chair’ to FPF@Loso, so if you spot a mini Adirondack chair, bring it to the welcome tent to redeem for a prize.

Inside Protagonist Beer you’ll find spots to kick back, a full drink menu, and a pizza kitchen.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

Dogs are allowed throughout the market and on Protagonist’s patio. 

ARE VENDORS CASH ONLY?

The majority of our vendors will take card or will have a digital payment method for debit and credit cards or Paypal, Venmo, or Cash App. Many vendors will also take cash.

WHAT'S THE EASIEST PLACE TO PARK?

There is a large parking lot north of Protagonist Beer and ample street parking.

HOW MANY VENDORS SETUP AT THE MARKET?

There are 40+ pop-up vendors.

What is the weather policy for FPF?

FPF@Loso is rain or shine. We do not cancel unless there is a threat to safety.

WHAT ARE THE DATES AND TIME IS THE EVENT?

FPF@LoSo happens on the fourth Sunday of each month from 11 am to 4 pm.

Is this an indoor or outdoor market?

FPF is an outdoor market.

WHAT TYPE OF VENDORS DO YOU LOOK FOR?

We look for fun and interesting offerings. Key juried elements include quality branding, strong business model, a social media presence, and low competition rate.

How many vendors do you accept?

We accept approximately 50 vendors.

DO I NEED A NC SALES AND USE TAX ID TO PARTICPATE?

Yes, you must supply the above to participate and we collect it on the application. Visit here, to learn more.

DO I HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED BUSINESS WITHIN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA?

Vendors are required to do what they need to to legally sell in the state of North Carolina. Please visit www.nc.gov for more information.

HOW MUCH IS A BOOTH and what size are they?

Booth spaces are 10x10’ and range from $105 to $135. Mobile vendors are $155. These rates are introductory and will increase.

IS THE VENDOR FEE REFUNDABLE?

Your vendor fee is non-refundable. If we host a market and you decide not to participate for any reason, your fee cannot be returned or credited towards another event. If we cancel a market due to safety issues with the weather, we will hold a non-refundable administrative fee and push forward the other portion to a future market.

WHAT IS PROVIDED?

FPF provides the overall event and the foot traffic. All vendors must provide their own setup. We do not provide wifi or electricity. In a broader sense, we have the right to choose which vendors are marketed via our social media channels.

WHEN DO APPLICATIONS COME OUT?

Applications become available 3-4 months prior to a market date.

HOW DOES THE WAITING LIST WORK?

We generally have an average of 30 businesses on our waiting list for each market. You will stay on the waiting list up until the market date as spaces may open up sporadically. If a space becomes available, you will be notified immediately.

DO I NEED TO ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

Vendors are required to accept credit cards or digital payment. It is your choice whether you accept cash, but we highly recommend it.

IS THERE WIFI OR ELECTRICITY FOR VENDORS?

We do not provide wifi or guarantee electricity. There are limited outlets available in the space.
