retail that is far from traditional

Esther and Elsa seeks to provide consultation and coordination for non-traditional and unique retail projects across our region. Whether it be a large scale retail program for a non-profit, or a community sponsored open air market, Esther and Elsa has the knowledge and experience needed. Using a unique combination of sales, merchandising, event management, and marketing strategies, our team can create and execute your custom project from start to finish.

JORDAN

OWNER AND CHIEF RETAIL STRATEGIST

Jordan Dollard worked in brand sales right out of Appalachian State University, where she received a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. After working in wholesale, she decided to focus her efforts on the other side of the industry, opening her own small women's boutique, Elsa Fine. Elsa Fine opened the doors to many of the projects she focuses on today. Wanting to find better platforms to sell her product around Charlotte, she quickly started planning the events she would participate in and eventually, she would transition out of traditional retail and into the Esther and Elsa company you're visiting today.

Jordan's focus today is planning the overall events and projects our team creates, in addition to managing outside relationships and a team of six. If you ask her, she spends more time on contracts and finances than anything fun! She's an avid foodie, has a deep love for her ever-growing closet, and spends her days thrifting, binge-watching true crime shows, and taking her pug on walks.

RASHIDA

PROJECT MANAGER

Rashida is a ray of warm sunshine combined with intense organizational skills. She spends her days at Esther and Elsa exploring new music acts, supplying our markets, and making sure event day will be seamless.

Rashida enjoys thrifting, cooking, and reading in her free time and will welcome a new baby with her husband, Alex, in February of 2024.

CORRINE

CREATIVE LEAD

We like to think Corrine has the most fun job here at E&E, but in all actuality, it’s one of the hardest. She is responsible for all creative aspects of our markets and events and constantly works at the intersection of art and logistics.

Corrine spends much of her time with her family, Joe and Ezra, and is a surrogate mom to a bevy of snails.

RICO

DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGIST

Rico spends his days maximizing Esther and Elsa’s social media channels, email blasts, and learning everything he can to create buzz for each project we manage.

When not working with Esther and Elsa, he spends his time with his photography business, working for Trolley Barn, and managing their run club, Barn Burners, which he has grown into a strong community of running enthusiasts from across the city. He’s an avid traveller and foodie, which you can follow on his Instagram, @RicoMarceloPhotography.

LONDON

COMMUNITY COORDINATOR

London’s sole focus at E&E is to take care of our ever-growing vendor community. Her goal is to make our small businesses feel heard and appreciated, since they are the reason we’re in business!

London is an artist, mother, and loyal friend. She’s a fan of thrifting and good wine.

ERIN

BALLET PROJECT LEAD

Erin spends her days at the office focused on one of our largest clients, Charlotte Ballet. She is charged with taking care of all creative aspects, inventory, website maintenance, and morel She has truly become a retail jack of all trades.

Erin has a bright and warm personality, which reflects in the great friendships she keeps. She spends her time traveling to visit her daughter, Chloe, in NYC, enjoying good food, and appreciating art.
