Position filled: Part-time Content Writer

The Esther and Elsa team is growing and we’re looking to add someone in the position of Content Writer. Responsibilities would include:

  • Instagram content writing, pushed through to Facebook (Facebook copy to be edited for the platform ie instead of link in bio, it would list the link)

  • 5-6 accounts.

  • 2-4 posts per week.

  • Write creative content according to current strategies and event timelines.

  • Make basic strategy affects as necessary.

  • Schedule posts.

  • Align copy with imagery provided by staff photographers or UGC.

  • Must be comfortable with the following programs: Google workspace, Sprout Social, and Canva.

  • Bonus: brainstorm video content ideas and topics (we'll do the producing)

The right person for this position would be:

  • An autonomous worker

  • Strong in their intuitive senses

  • Organized

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English

  • Strong creative writing skills

  • Detail Oriented

  • Easily able to transition between brand voices

  • Ability to take direction or notes and use across projects

Details about this job include:

  • Starting rate of $20/hour

  • 10 hours a week to start with potential to take on additional social media responsibilities

  • First 90 days in office, flexibility after first 90 days
